Recalculating Scotland's impact on slotxo resources From metals to plastics and energy It was found that the country weighed more than twice the level of sustainability.

The government-led project Zero Waste Scotland found that the total tonnage of resources for the average Scot in 2017 was 18.4 tons.

The calculated weight for the average European is 14.1 tons.European sustainability levels are expected to be around 8 tonnes.The agency said it could be because more rural and fragmented communities

need more infrastructure and the higher costs of insulating and heating buildings in northern countries.Material flow accounting is a new way to calculate environmental impact. by providing an alternative perspective on carbon accounting.

Metals and ores, plastics, fuels, textiles, paper, cardboard and wood.including the impact of shipping products to Scotland. as well as raw materials and energy used in other countries producing and exporting goods to Scotland.
