Amazon eagle faces starvation in 'Last stronghold'

Conservationists say one of the slotxo world's largest eagles has a "near zero" chance of surviving the deforestation of the Amazon.Birds are struggling to keep their young in parts of the rainforest, according to a new study.

About 17% of Amazon has been destroyed in the last 50 years, and losses have increased recently.The Harpy Eagle is the largest bird in the Americas. It has large claws for hunting monkeys and sloths in the treetops.
